The Academy Day

(30 minutes) Join us for the morning meeting when the community gathers together, prays, and explores the life of the saint of the week with real-time whiteboard illustrations. This is also the time for students to give their history presentations once every unit.

(45 minutes) Each age group will have the same four classes throughout the day, but in a different order. The classes are history, art, science, and spiritual theology for kids.

• Younger: Spiritual Theology for Kids with Mr. Jesse
• Middle: Science with Mrs. Sarah W.
• Older: Science with Mrs. Sarah H.

(25 minutes) Morning snack and recess is indispensable for maintaining a positive, energetic school culture. It helps students (young and old alike) to recharge and refocus in order to stay engaged in class.

• Middle: Art with Mrs. Lisa
• Older: History with Mr. Jesse

• Middle: Spiritual Theology for Kids with Mr. Jesse
• Older: Art with Mrs. Alex

(25 minutes) 

Lunch and recess time are key parts of the culture of the academy. They give us a chance to refuel, to be together as a whole group, to build relationship, stay active, and share good experiences. 

(20 minutes) We come together to pray the prayer our Blessed Mother has requested: the rosary. A few precious minutes to slow down and focus on the Lord 🙂

(10 minutes) Please join us at the end of the day as we gather together to share what we learned, make announcements, and pray. 

(9,780 minutes) It is much appreciated when parents take their children home at the end of the day. It takes six and half days to recharge after a successful academy day 🙂
