The Academy Day

(30 minutes) Join us for the morning meeting when the community gathers together, prays, and explores the life of the saint of the week with real-time whiteboard illustrations. This is also the time for students to give their history presentations once every unit.

(35 minutes) Each age group will have the same four classes throughout the day, but in a different order. The classes are history, art, science, and spiritual theology for kids.

• Younger: Spiritual Theology for Kids with Mr. Jesse
• Middle: History with Mrs. Kasia
• Older: Science with Mrs. Sarah Hinde

(15 minutes) Morning recess is indispensable for maintaining a positive, energetic school culture. It helps students (young and old alike) to recharge and refocus in order to stay engaged in class.

(35 minutes)

• Younger: Science with Mrs. Sarah Wilson
• Middle: Art with Mrs. Lisa
• Older: History with Mr. Jesse

(25 minutes) Recess time is a key part of the culture of the academy. It gives us a chance to be together as a whole group, to build relationship, stay active, and share good experiences. Snack is placed here to observe the hour fast before Mass and to help the kids make it until lunch.

(35 minutes)

• Middle: Spiritual Theology for Kids with Mr. Jesse
• Older: Art with Mrs. Billie

(5 minutes) A few precious minutes to get into our pews and focus on the Lord 🙂

(45 minutes) We value participating in the Mass together as a community and so on each academy day we make time as a group, in company with the heavenly hosts, to offer the one and only perfect Sacrifice in history to God the Father as an act of true worship.

(30 minutes) Time to refuel and get ready for the final part of the day!

(10 minutes) Please join us at the end of the day as we gather together to share what we learned, make announcements, and pray. 

(9,780 minutes) It is much appreciated when parents take their children home at the end of the day. It takes six and half days to recharge after a successful academy day 🙂
